BYDFi

BYDFi is a crypto exchange founded in 2020 as BitYard and renamed in 2023, marketed from Singapore, whose terms of use name BYDFi Fintech LTD, a Seychelles counterparty, as the operator. No regulator licence could be confirmed for it, so it is an offshore exchange without the protections of a licensed platform. It suits experienced crypto traders who want perpetual futures, copy trading and trading bots, and it does not accept residents of the US or the UK.

About BYDFi

Who BYDFi is

BYDFi started in 2020 under the name BitYard and rebranded to BYDFi in 2023. It presents Singapore as its headquarters, but the company that contracts with users is BYDFi Fintech LTD, an offshore entity tied to Seychelles. The exchange is aimed at active crypto traders rather than people buying their first coins.

The product range is wide. BYDFi lists more than 1,000 assets for spot trading and more than 500 perpetual futures contracts, both USDT-margined and coin-margined, with leverage of up to 200x. It also offers copy trading, trading bots (spot grid, martingale and DCA), a demo account funded with 100,000 virtual USDT, MoonX for on-chain trading and a crypto Visa card.

Fees and accounts

According to a third-party review, spot trading costs 0.1% for both maker and taker orders, and futures cost 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker. Crypto deposits are free and withdrawal fees depend on the network. BYDFi does not state a minimum deposit.

Identity verification (KYC) is required before you can deposit or trade futures. Unverified accounts have a daily withdrawal cap of 50,000 USDT. BYDFi says it runs an 800 BTC protection fund and publishes proof of reserves, but neither claim has been independently verified.

How the BYDFi Reward Center works

New users get a Newbie Gift of 100 USDT for completing tasks within 7 days of registering: KYC, a first deposit (published guides say $100 or more) and a trade. Guides split the 100 USDT into 20 USDT for signing up, 20 USDT for the deposit and 20 USDT for each $100 of spot or futures volume, up to three times. The task list is only visible after you log in, so check it in the Rewards Hub before you deposit.

Most of the reward is not cash. BYDFi pays rewards as futures bonus, coupons and vouchers. Futures bonus offsets margin and fees on USDT-M perpetuals and only the profit it generates can be withdrawn; unused bonus expires. The 'up to 8,100 USDT' headline adds a limited-time futures bonus of up to 8,000 USDT that scales with net deposit and volume in the first 7 days, reaching its top tier only with a $50,000 deposit and $50 million traded. Treat 100 USDT of trading credit as the realistic value.

Safety and regulation

No regulator licence for BYDFi could be confirmed. Third-party reviews say it holds Money Services Business registrations in the US and other countries, but no matching entry was found in the FinCEN, FINTRAC, AUSTRAC or Lithuanian registers, and none of those sources names one. BYDFi is not on the list of MiCA-authorised crypto providers kept by Spain's CNMV.

No IOSCO alert or regulator blacklist entry for BYDFi was found. A Spanish review site says BYDFi carries a regulatory warning in Canada and that its legal documents are inconsistent about which entity runs the service; the Canadian warning could not be located and remains unconfirmed.

US and UK residents cannot open accounts, according to a third-party review, and US IP addresses are blocked. Residents of China, Iran, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan and Pakistan have been listed as ineligible for the 8,100 USDT new-user reward. BYDFi does not publish an official restricted-countries list that we could reach.

Frequently asked questions

Does BYDFi have a sign-up bonus?

Yes. New users who complete KYC, make a first deposit and place a trade within 7 days of registering can earn a 100 USDT Newbie Gift in the Reward Center. The 'up to 8,100 USDT' figure adds a futures bonus that only reaches its maximum with a $50,000 deposit and $50 million in trading volume.

Can I withdraw the BYDFi bonus?

Mostly not. Futures bonus cannot be withdrawn as cash: it covers margin and fees on USDT-M perpetuals, and only the profit it generates can be withdrawn. Cash vouchers can be withdrawn, while trading and cashback vouchers need profit or volume conditions first. Unused bonus expires.

Is BYDFi regulated?

No regulator licence could be confirmed. BYDFi's terms name BYDFi Fintech LTD, a Seychelles counterparty, as the operator. Third-party claims of Money Services Business registrations could not be matched to any public register, and BYDFi is not on Spain's CNMV list of MiCA-authorised crypto providers.

Is BYDFi available in the US or UK?

No. According to a third-party review, US and UK residents cannot open accounts and US IP addresses are blocked. Residents of China, Iran, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan and Pakistan have also been listed as ineligible for the 8,100 USDT new-user reward.
