Risk warning: Trading carries a high risk of losing money, especially with leveraged products such as CFDs. A bonus does not reduce that risk. Only deposit what you can afford to lose.

The catch
The credit itself cannot be withdrawn. Profits generated while using it can. Third-party summaries of the terms say withdrawing your starting deposit removes the promotional funds and that credit is clawed back if equity drops below the credit amount, which can stop out positions. VT Markets can also deduct the bonus for churning or cross-account hedging (general terms, clauses 9 and 11).
How to claim
- Open a new live VT Markets account and complete verification.
- Make your first deposit. You are opted in automatically.
- The 50% credit appears in the account within one business day of the deposit being processed.
- Trade with the credit. Only profits made with it can be withdrawn.
Full review
New VT Markets live accounts get a bonus of 50% of the first deposit, credited within one business day. The advertised figure is "up to $500", but that cap only applies once you deposit $1,000 (third-party reviews give this figure, VT Markets does not publish the maths). A typical $500 deposit gets $250 in credit. Later deposits get a separate 20% credit under the deposit bonus offer.
The catch is that the credit is not money. VT Markets states the funds cannot be withdrawn and only profits made while using them can be paid out. Review sites that quote the terms add that if you withdraw part of your own deposit the credit shrinks or is removed, and that if equity falls below the credit amount the credit is taken back, which can stop out open positions. The official page does not state these two rules, so confirm them in the client portal before depositing. The general promotion terms let VT Markets cancel the offer at any time, refuse any applicant without giving a reason, and deduct the bonus from the account for churning or hedging with credit across accounts. The offer cannot be combined with other offers, and PAMM, MAM and copy trading accounts are excluded.
The offer is run by VT Markets Limited (Mauritius, FSC licence GB23202269), an offshore-style entity, and the group has regulator warnings in several countries. It is not available to residents of the US, Singapore, India, Russia or Germany, or to FATF-listed and sanctioned jurisdictions. Bonuses of this kind are normally not offered to retail clients under FCA, ASIC or ESMA entities, and VT Markets does not say which entities carry the offer, so check eligibility for your country before you register. Taxes are your responsibility.
