Risk warning: Trading carries a high risk of losing money, especially with leveraged products such as CFDs. A bonus does not reduce that risk. Only deposit what you can afford to lose.

The catch

Reward is credited as cash to the Revolut Personal account, typically within 10 business days (terms say up to 7 days from when the qualifying transaction posts) after one qualifying RETAIL card purchase. Once credited it behaves as ordinary, spendable and withdrawable account balance with no turnover, trading, or hold requirement.

How to claim

  1. Open a new Revolut Personal account through an official promotional link (begin registration via the promo link so the offer attaches to your account).
  2. Download the Revolut app and complete identity verification (KYC).
  3. Make at least one card purchase meeting the country minimum spend (as low as €0.01 in Germany/France/Italy/Belgium/Netherlands/Spain, €10 in Portugal) within one month of opening the account.
  4. Receive the reward credited to your Revolut account within 10 business days.

Full review

Revolut runs a sign-up promotion that pays new Personal account holders a flat cash reward, typically €10 in markets like Spain, Ireland and Portugal and €20 in Germany, France, Italy, Austria and the Netherlands. You open the account through an official promotional link, complete identity verification, and make one qualifying card purchase.

The reward is credited to your Revolut balance within 10 business days and behaves like normal money you can spend or withdraw. The catch is mostly in the framing. Headlines advertise figures "up to €30," but that top figure applies to a single market (Finland), so most EU users realistically get €10 or €20.

The qualifying spend is small (as low as €0.01 in several countries, up to €10 in Portugal), but you must complete it within one month of opening the account and before the promotion ends on 31 December 2026. Registration has to start through the promo link for the bonus to attach, and only genuinely new Revolut customers qualify.

Eligibility is limited to listed countries (including AT, BE, DE, ES, FR, IE, IT, NL, PT and CH), customers aged 18 or over, and accounts that pass KYC. Exact amounts and minimum spend vary by country, so the precise reward depends on where you reside.

Pros

  • +Real cash credited to your account, spendable and withdrawable like normal balance
  • +Very low qualifying spend in most EU markets (as little as €0.01)
  • +Quick to complete: sign up, verify, one purchase
  • +Free Standard account is enough to qualify

Cons

  • Advertised 'up to €30' only applies to one market; most EU users get €10-€20
  • Must start registration via a promotional link or the bonus does not attach
  • One-month window to complete the qualifying spend
  • New customers only; existing or previously closed accounts are excluded
  • Bonus is reversible: Revolut claws it back if you refund/reverse the qualifying purchase, or close/restrict your account before (or shortly after) receiving it
  • The qualifying purchase must be a genuine retail card payment, ATM withdrawals, P2P transfers, top-ups/account funding, crypto, gambling and gift cards do not count
