The "up to €100" headline is marketing. The reward value is randomly assigned, and Lightyear's own promotion terms put roughly 85 percent of payouts in the €10 to €15 band and only about 1 percent in the €75 to €100 band, so the realistic outcome for almost everyone is a share worth €10 to €20.
The other catch is the lock period: the original reward value must stay in the account for 6 months before it can be sold or withdrawn, and that lock follows the value even if you sell the share or swap it for another instrument.
