Risk warning: Trading carries a high risk of losing money, especially with leveraged products such as CFDs. A bonus does not reduce that risk. Only deposit what you can afford to lose.

The catch

The bonus is "trading credit," not cash, and credit is never directly withdrawable. It converts to withdrawable real equity at a fixed rate of $1.00 per standard round-turn FX lot for direct clients, or $0.50 per lot for IB-referred clients (so IB-referred clients need DOUBLE the volume), settled weekly. Only round-turn lots on currency pairs count; CFDs on indices, commodities, shares and crypto do not (1 standard lot = 100,000 units).

How to claim

  1. Open a live Eightcap trading account with Eightcap Global Ltd (offer not available to US or Australian residents).
  2. Deposit at least $100 into the live account.
  3. The trading credit is added automatically within 24 business hours, up to $500 (at a $1,000 deposit). You must claim within 10 days of the account opening date.
  4. Trade standard FX lots to convert the credit into withdrawable real equity at $1.00 per standard lot ($0.50 per lot if you were referred by an Introducing Broker).

Full review

Eightcap gives new clients of its Eightcap Global Ltd entity a 20% trading credit on a qualifying deposit. The credit follows a fixed table: $100 deposit gets $50, $500 gets $250, and $1,000 gets the headline $500. Some pages advertise "up to $1,000", but that only appears at a $5,000 deposit, and at that level the credit is still just 20%.

The bonus is added automatically within 24 business hours and must be claimed within 10 days of opening the account. The catch is that the credit is not real money. It sits in the platform as margin and cannot be withdrawn as cash.

It converts to withdrawable equity at $1.00 per standard FX lot traded (or $0.50 per lot if an Introducing Broker referred you), settled weekly. To turn a $50 credit into cash you would need to trade about 50 standard lots, and only currency-pair round-turns count (CFDs on indices, commodities, shares and crypto do not).

Withdrawing your original deposit at any point instantly cancels and removes all unconverted credit. The offer is open to selected new clients of Eightcap Global Ltd (regulated by the Securities Commission of The Bahamas, with terms governed by Vanuatu law).

It is not available to residents of the United States or Australia, can be redeemed once per client, and cannot be combined with other promotions.

Pros

  • +Clear, fixed credit table with no hidden tiers
  • +Profits and converted equity are withdrawable
  • +Automatic, no promo code needed
  • +Original deposit can be withdrawn at any time

Cons

  • Credit itself is never withdrawable as cash
  • Conversion needs heavy volume: about 50 standard lots per $50 of credit
  • Only FX currency pairs count toward conversion, not CFDs or crypto
  • Withdrawing your deposit wipes out all unconverted credit
  • Not available to US or Australia residents
  • Headline '20%' is the worst tier: the deposit table actually pays 50% at the $100-$1,000 tiers (e.g. $1,000 deposit = $500 credit), 35% at $2,000, and only 20% at $5,000 - the label both understates the low-tier match and misstates the percentage
