Risk warning: Trading carries a high risk of losing money, especially with leveraged products such as CFDs. A bonus does not reduce that risk. Only deposit what you can afford to lose.

Checking availability…The catch
Paid as EUR 100 cash to the comdirect settlement account within a week of opening the depot, and freely withdrawable. There is no trade or deposit requirement. The marketing e-mail consent must stay in place until payout. Taxable as other income only if all such income in the year reaches EUR 256.
How to claim
- Check you qualify: aged 18+, resident in Germany, and not a comdirect customer in the last 6 months.
- Open the standard comdirect Depot (not the Pure Depot) online at comdirect.de and make sure the complete application reaches comdirect by 1 November 2026.
- In the application, agree to receive promotional e-mails from Commerzbank AG. Do not revoke this consent until the bonus has been credited.
- Complete identity verification. The EUR 100 is credited to your comdirect settlement account about a week after the depot is opened.
Full review
comdirect, the direct-banking brand of Commerzbank AG, pays EUR 100 to new customers who open a comdirect Depot during the campaign. The campaign first ran to 15 September 2026 and comdirect extended it to 1 November 2026. The money is paid into the comdirect settlement account within a week of opening the depot. Comdirect advertises "up to EUR 150", but the extra EUR 50 is an Early-Bird bonus for a state-subsidised Altersvorsorgedepot (pension depot). It is paid only in May 2027 and only if that new product actually launches, so the realistic figure for this offer is EUR 100.
The catch is the marketing consent. You must agree to promotional e-mails from Commerzbank AG during the application and may not withdraw that consent until the bonus has been paid. After payout you can revoke it. The current conditions on the comdirect depot page ask for nothing else: no minimum deposit and no trades. The bonus is taxable as other income (section 22 no. 3 EStG), but only above EUR 256 of such income per calendar year. Running costs matter too: the depot is free for three years, after which it is free only with two trades per quarter, a comdirect Girokonto or a regular savings plan.
Eligibility is limited to adults with residence in Germany who were not comdirect customers in the 6 months before opening. Customers whose account or depot is managed by a financial services provider are excluded, and so are the comdirect Pure Depot and asset-managed depots. The full application must reach comdirect by 1 November 2026, and comdirect can change or end the offer at any time. Moving securities in from another bank is free, but comdirect currently pays no separate transfer premium on top.
