Forex CFD Crypto Stock also offers CommoditiesIndices

FBS is a bonus-heavy forex and CFD broker popular across Asia, Africa and Latin America, with most retail clients served by its offshore entities. Its classic no deposit offers are discontinued; the live promotion is a deposit bonus whose credit mechanics decide its real worth. It does not serve clients in the EU, UK or US.

Who FBS is

FBS is a forex and CFD broker founded in 2009. The company says it operates in more than 150 countries and passed 27 million registered clients in 2022, with most of that growth coming from Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. The brand runs on three legal entities. The one that matters for bonus hunters is FBS Markets Inc., registered in Belize and licensed by the Financial Services Commission of Belize, because that entity operates fbs.com and runs the promotions. A separate Cyprus company, Tradestone Ltd, holds CySEC license 331/17 and serves the EU through fbs.eu, and Intelligent Financial Markets Pty Ltd trades as FBS Oceania in Australia under AFSL 426359.

Treat the trust picture accordingly. Belize FSC oversight is light compared with CySEC or ASIC, and the Belize entity's client agreement gives the company wide discretion over quotes, orders and promotions. FBS has also been shrinking its footprint: it pulled out of India in August 2025 and told partners later that year that it was pausing marketing activity. The broker still onboards clients, but it is a quieter operation than its bonus-heavy reputation suggests.

Trading conditions that matter to a bonus claimant

FBS offers forex with 30-plus currency pairs, metals, indices, energies, more than 350 stock CFDs and crypto CFDs on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and its own FBS app. Deposits start at $5 and headline leverage goes to 1:3000. That top leverage only applies to small accounts: under the customer agreement, 1:3000 is capped at $200 of equity, dropping to 1:1000 at $5,000 and lower tiers above that. Margin call comes at 40% margin level and stop out at 20%.

The bonus-eligible account types are Standard and Cent. Withdrawal mechanics matter if you plan to cash out bonus profits: FBS processes withdrawal requests within two working days, money must go back to the payment method that funded the account, and card deposits require a partial card copy before any withdrawal is released.

The no deposit bonus is gone, the deposit bonus remains

FBS built its name on no deposit offers, most recently the Level Up bonus that gave new clients $70, doubled to $140 for using the app, with profits withdrawable after trading five lots across 20 active trading days. That program is finished. FBS says on its own blog that it no longer runs a permanent no deposit or welcome bonus. Any site still advertising a $140 FBS no deposit bonus is out of date.

The live program is the FBS Deposit Bonus, running since July 2025. Your first deposit after the program launch gets a 100% match. Later deposits get a sliding scale: 10% on $100 to $250, rising through tiers to 60% on deposits above $5,000. The cap is $10,000 in bonus per deposit and $25,000 in total bonus credit across all your accounts. The bonus lands automatically on eligible deposits to Standard and Cent accounts.

Read the credit mechanics carefully, because this is not money. The bonus is non-withdrawable margin credit. Profits made while trading with it can be withdrawn, and the current terms have no lot turnover requirement, which is unusual and better than older FBS bonus rules. The catch is on the other side: your own balance is spent first in trades, any withdrawal deducts an equal amount of bonus, and the credit expires 28 days after your last deposit or newly opened trade. If your equity ever falls to or below the bonus amount, the whole credit is removed. In practice it is short-lived extra margin, not free capital.

Who can actually get FBS bonuses

FBS promotions are run by the Belize entity, so eligibility follows fbs.com availability. Residents of the EU, UK and US cannot claim them. The EU arm, Tradestone Ltd, operates under CySEC rules and offers no bonuses, and FBS Oceania states it does not serve residents of the USA, EU, UK, Japan or China. India was cut entirely in August 2025, when FBS told Indian clients to withdraw funds and closed their access.

That leaves the offshore client base in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America as the practical audience for the deposit bonus. If you register through fbs.com and your country is accepted at signup, the bonus applies automatically unless you ask support to opt out, which is worth considering if you want clean withdrawals without credit deductions.

What to check before you claim

Expect real verification before money leaves the account. The customer agreement lets FBS demand ID and proof of address, request notarized document copies, ask for source of funds evidence, and close accounts that do not comply within its deadlines. Plan to verify fully before you trade the bonus, not after you have profits waiting.

The common ways people lose FBS bonus profits are spelled out in the terms. Multiple accounts registered to claim more than one bonus, trading from a shared IP address, arbitrage between connected markets, and volume that FBS judges artificial can all void the bonus, and the company states its decisions are final. The softer risks are structural: at 1:3000 leverage a small move wipes the deposit, and once equity drops to the bonus level the credit vanishes exactly when you need the margin. Value the deposit bonus as a temporary buffer against margin calls, not as doubled money, and keep position sizes based on your own funds.

Pros

  • +100% first deposit bonus with clear written terms and no lot turnover requirement on profits
  • +Very low entry: $5 minimum deposit and Cent accounts for small-stakes testing
  • +MT4, MT5 and a usable in-house app
  • +Profits from bonus trading are withdrawable, and you can decline the bonus via support
  • +High bonus ceilings: $10,000 per deposit, $25,000 total credit

Cons

  • Retail clients are served by the lightly regulated Belize entity, not the CySEC or ASIC arms
  • Bonus credit expires 28 days after the last deposit or new trade
  • Any withdrawal deletes an equal amount of bonus, so cashing out drains the credit
  • No deposit bonuses are discontinued despite widespread outdated advertising
  • FBS keeps sole discretion to cancel bonuses without explanation, and exited India and paused marketing in 2025

Frequently asked questions

Does FBS still have a no deposit bonus?

No. FBS confirms on its own blog that it no longer offers a no deposit or welcome bonus. The old Level Up bonus of $70, or $140 via the app, has been discontinued. The current promotion is a deposit bonus of 100% on your first deposit and 10% to 60% on later ones.

How does the FBS 100% deposit bonus work?

Deposit and the bonus is credited automatically as non-withdrawable margin credit, up to $10,000 per deposit and $25,000 in total. You trade with your own money first, the credit extends your margin, and any profits you make are withdrawable. Withdrawing funds removes an equal amount of bonus.

How do I withdraw FBS bonus profits?

Complete verification, then request withdrawal from your Personal Area. The current deposit bonus terms set no lot turnover requirement on profits, but funds must return to the payment method you deposited with, card deposits need a card copy, and requests are processed within two working days. The withdrawal reduces your remaining bonus credit one to one.

Is FBS regulated?

Yes, but most clients trade with the offshore entity. FBS Markets Inc. is licensed by the Financial Services Commission of Belize, a light-touch regulator. The group also holds CySEC license 331/17 through Tradestone Ltd for the EU and ASIC AFSL 426359 in Australia, but those entities do not run the bonus programs.

Why did FBS cancel my bonus?

The usual causes are in the terms: equity fell to or below the bonus amount, 28 days passed without a deposit or new trade, you withdrew funds, or FBS flagged abuse such as multiple accounts, shared IP addresses, arbitrage or artificial volume. FBS states its bonus decisions are final.

Can I get FBS bonuses in the EU, UK or US?

No. FBS promotions run through the Belize entity and are not available to EU, UK or US residents. The EU arm operates under CySEC rules without bonuses, and FBS left India entirely in August 2025. The offers target clients in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.
