Bitunix

Bitunix is a crypto derivatives exchange that launched in late 2021 and centres on USDT-margined perpetual futures, with spot trading, copy trading and earn products alongside. It discloses no financial licence and no operating company on its site, so it is an offshore platform with no regulator overseeing client funds. It suits experienced futures traders who accept that risk; it does not serve the US, Canada, mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, the UAE, France, Malaysia or Seychelles.

About Bitunix

Who Bitunix is

Bitunix is a centralized crypto exchange built around USDT-M perpetual futures, with leverage of up to 200x according to its own fee blog. It also offers spot trading, copy trading, an Easy Earn savings product, a P2P market, a crypto card and a VIP program. Its Ultra 4ward campaign in December 2025 was billed as its fourth anniversary, which points to a launch in late 2021; the site footer copyright runs from 2022 to 2026.

The site does not name the company that runs the exchange or say where it is headquartered. The footer links to a contact page for El Salvador, and third-party sites mention Saint Vincent or El Salvador as its base, but we found no official document that confirms either.

Fees and trading

At the base VIP 0 level, futures cost 0.02% for makers and 0.06% for takers, and spot costs 0.08% for makers and 0.10% for takers. Crypto deposits are free, and trading can start from about $10.

Futures at up to 200x leverage can be liquidated by a small price move. Most of what Bitunix promotes, its bonuses included, is tied to futures trading, so that liquidation risk applies to anyone chasing the rewards.

How the Rewards Hub bonus works

The Rewards Hub advertises up to 10,000 USDT in rewards, and other Bitunix pages say 5,500 or 8,000+ USDT, with no breakdown of how anyone reaches those totals. The tasks it actually lists are small. A Trading Day Check-In pays a 2 USDT futures bonus for 3 valid trading days, 3 USDT for 6 days and 3 USDT x2 for 8 days, where a valid day means at least 2,000 USDT of futures volume with fees above zero. Identity verification unlocks a mystery box worth up to 100 USDT, which can hold a futures bonus, VIP trial cards, fee vouchers, position vouchers or physical prizes.

A futures bonus is margin credit, not cash. It cannot be withdrawn or moved to spot, losses use it up first, and only profits made with it can be withdrawn. Transferring funds out of the futures account before the bonus is used cancels what is left. Eight days at the minimum is 16,000 USDT of volume, about 9.60 USDT in taker fees at the VIP 0 rate, to earn a few USDT of bonus.

Bitunix also runs a referral program. An existing user shares an invitation code, and as the invited friend completes tasks the referrer receives futures trial vouchers and a share of the friend's trading fees. The friend has to enter the code at sign-up, because it cannot be added later, and the page does not define the tasks.

Safety and who can join

Bitunix discloses no licence from any financial regulator. Our searches found no regulator warning or IOSCO alert naming it, but that is not a form of protection: there is no compensation scheme or ombudsman to turn to if the exchange fails or freezes funds.

Its prohibited list, last updated on 2026-08-05, covers the US, Canada, mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, the UAE, France, Malaysia, Seychelles, Crimea and the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, plus sanctioned countries such as North Korea, Iran, Syria and Cuba. Some Rewards Hub tasks are further limited by region or sign-up channel.
