Risk warning: Trading carries a high risk of losing money, especially with leveraged products such as CFDs. A bonus does not reduce that risk. Only deposit what you can afford to lose.

The catch

Referral commissions are credited daily as a normal CET balance (USDT for invite-only Ambassadors) with no separate turnover, lock-up, or minimum-withdrawal requirement, so anything earned is freely withdrawable or tradable. BUT earnings are not generated by your own trading: you only earn a percentage of trading fees paid by people who register with your referral link/code and actively trade with non-zero fees, your own deposits and trades produce zero referral income.

How to claim

  1. Register or log in to your CoinEx account
  2. Open the Referral page to get your unique referral link and code
  3. Share the link with friends who register and trade on CoinEx
  4. Earn a share of their trading fees, credited automatically in CET the next day

Full review

The CoinEx Referral Program lets you earn a cut of the spot and futures trading fees paid by friends who sign up with your referral link or code. Rewards are calculated daily and credited to your account the next day in CET, CoinEx's native token.

Regular users start at a 15% commission rate, which rises with your VIP tier up to 40% at VIP 5. Ambassadors, a separate invite-based tier for high-volume promoters, are paid in USDT and can earn higher ratios. The catch is the 40% in the marketing headline is not what a typical new user gets.

The base rate for a Regular User (VIP 0) is 15%, and reaching 40% requires VIP 5 status, which depends on your own trading volume and CET holdings. Rewards also decay over time: each referral is valid for 12 months, the commission is halved after the first 6 months, and it stops entirely after 12 months.

Only CoinEx Ambassadors are exempt from this expiry and keep a permanent commission. Self-referral through multiple accounts is prohibited and gets all related rewards cancelled. Eligibility is open to most CoinEx users worldwide, with no minimum deposit to start referring.

CoinEx does not serve residents of the United States, Canada, Hong Kong SAR, or mainland China, so users in those jurisdictions cannot participate. Commissions are paid in CET (or USDT for Ambassadors) and can be withdrawn or traded like any other balance.

Pros

  • +No minimum deposit or cost to join
  • +Commissions are real balances you can withdraw or trade
  • +Rate scales up to 40% and Ambassadors earn permanent USDT rewards

Cons

  • New users only get 15%, not the headline 40%
  • Commission is halved after 6 months and ends after 12 months
  • Paid in CET (volatile token) for regular users
  • Not available to US, Canada, Hong Kong, or China residents
  • This is a referral commission program, not a claimable bonus: your own deposits and trades earn nothing, income exists only if you recruit other people who then trade and pay fees, so a solo trader earns $0
  • Reaching the headline 40% requires holding roughly 50,000+ CET (a five-figure-dollar lockup in a volatile token), not just generic VIP status as the copy implies
